In Saturday's non-league contest, the Buchanan Bucks (Buchanan, MI) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Concord Minutemen (Elkhart, IN), by a margin of 12-0.
With the triumph, Buchanan moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Bucks travel to Brandywine (Niles, MI) to play the Bobcats in a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - Red contest on Tuesday, April 25. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 2-0. Brandywine won 11-4 in their recent league contest against Berrien Springs (Berrien Springs, MI)
In their next game, the Minutemen play the NorthWood Panthers (Nappanee, IN) in a Northern Lakes contest, on Tuesday, April 18. Concord will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Elkhart (Elkhart, IN).
