The Midview Middies (Grafton, OH) softball the host Buckeye Bucks (Medina, OH), 5-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Middies (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Elyria (Elyria, OH). The Pioneers go into the Southwestern bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Elyria was routed by Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH), 18-14, in a non-league bout.

The Bucks now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Parma for a Great Lakes bout on Tuesday, April 18. Buckeye will confront a Redmen squad coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to Beaumont School (Cleveland Heights, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 1-7.
