Chalker Wildcats (Southington, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Windham for a Northeastern Athletic challenge on Monday, April 17. Chalker will battle a Bombers squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Maplewood (Cortland, OH). The Bombers record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, McKinley falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH) to battle the Rams in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet challenge on Monday, April 17. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Mineral Ridge lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH)
