The Everett Seagulls softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Mount Vernon Bulldogs to 4 in the Seagulls non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Everett improves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Seagulls host Stanwood (Stanwood, WA) to clash with the Spartans in a 2A/3A Wesco game on Monday, April 17. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 2-4. Stanwood lost 4-2 in their recent league game against Cascade (Everett, WA)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game, on Tuesday, April 18. Mount Vernon will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 6-5 record after their 17-7 league win over Anacortes (Anacortes, WA).
