Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) and the visiting Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL), witnessed Mundelein's softball squad tip Glenbrook North by a count of 7-5.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Zurich for a North Suburban match on Tuesday, April 18.

With the loss, Glenbrook North moves to 6-9 on the season. The Spartans host New Trier (Winnetka, IL) to meet the Trevians in a Central Suburban - South match on Tuesday, April 18. The Trevians go into the match with a record of 3-6. New Trier lost 11-10 in their recent non-league match against Resurrection (Chicago, IL)
