Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Richmond Red Devils (Richmond, IN), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Henry for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Jay County will battle a Redskins squad coming off a 23-0 non-league win over Mississinawa Valley (Union City, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Richmond falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Red devils host Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to battle the Golden Falcons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 19. The Golden Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. Winchester Community lost 8-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Union City (Union City, IN)
