Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Northridge Vikings (Johnstown, OH), 13-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Rockets now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elgin for a Northwest Central challenge on Monday, April 17. Ridgedale will face a Comets squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH). The Comets record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Northridge falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Vikings host Utica (Utica, OH) to face the Redskins in a Licking County challenge on Monday, April 17. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 2-8. Utica won 7-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Danville (Danville, OH)
