The Shabazz Bulldogs baseball team (Newark, NJ), was overwhelmed 14-0 in Monday's non-league outing with the host Belleville Buccaneers (Belleville, NJ)
The Buccaneers now hold a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Grove for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 18. Belleville will confront a Panthers team coming off a 11-0 league win over Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 8-0.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the East Side Red Raiders (Newark, NJ) in a SEC - Colonial outing, on Wednesday, April 17. Shabazz will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Red Raiders go into the outing with a 2-6 record after their 15-2 non-league win over Weequahic (Newark, NJ).
