The Farmington Cardinals got by the visiting Bentonville West Wolverines baseball team by a count of 5-4 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Berryville for a 4A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, April 16. Farmington will face a Bobcats team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Prairie Grove (Prairie Grove, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-10.
Next, the Wolverines face the Rogers Heritage War Eagles (Rogers, AR) in a 6A West bout, on Thursday, April 18. Bentonville West will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The War Eagles enter the bout with a 21-1 record after their 8-7 league loss to Fayetteville (Fayetteville, AR).
