The Warren Central Vikings crushed the host Columbus Falcons baseball team by a count of 15-0 in Monday's league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 13-10 record. They take the field next when they host Vicksburg for a 6A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, April 16. Warren Central will face a Gators team coming off a 19-0 league loss to Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS). The Gators record now stands at 8-17.
Next, the Falcons face the Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) in a 6A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, April 16. Columbus will attempt to move on its 3-16 season record. The Rockets enter the bout with a 14-9 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS).
