The Lenape Valley Patriots crushed the visiting Hopatcong Chiefs baseball team by a count of 16-6 in Monday's league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren Hills Regional for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 16. Lenape Valley will face a Blue Streaks team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 5-1.
Next, the Chiefs face the Newton Braves (Newton, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 16. Hopatcong will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Braves enter the bout with a 0-7 record after their 9-7 league loss to Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ).
