The Salem Quakers crushed the visiting Minerva Lions baseball team by a tally of 20-10 in Monday's league bout.
The Quakers now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carrollton for a Eastern Buckeye bout on Tuesday, April 16. Salem will face a Warriors team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to West Holmes (Millersburg, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 5-4.
Next, the Lions face the Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) in a Eastern Buckeye bout, on Tuesday, April 16. Minerva will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Dukes enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 4-1 league loss to West Branch (Beloit, OH).
