The Sleepy Eye Indians crushed the host Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers baseball team by a count of 7-0 in Monday's league bout.
The Indians now possess a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart for a Tomahawk bout on Thursday, April 18. Sleepy Eye will face a Mustangs team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-4.
Next, the Chargers face the Springfield Tigers (Springfield, MN) in a Tomahawk bout, on Thursday, April 18. Minnesota Valley Lutheran will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 8-0 record after their 3-1 league win over New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN).
