The Springfield Tigers the host New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds baseball team by a count of 3-1 in Monday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Minnesota Valley Lutheran for a Tomahawk bout on Thursday, April 18. Springfield will face a Chargers team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 4-1.

Next, the Greyhounds face the Wabasso Rabbits (Wabasso, MN) in a Tomahawk bout, on Thursday, April 18. New Ulm Cathedral will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Rabbits enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 6-3 league loss to St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN).
