In Monday's league battle, the visiting Rio Linda Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pioneer Patriots.

The Knights (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Center (Antelope, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Center achieved victory over Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Mira Loma Matadors (Sacramento, CA) in a battle, on Wednesday, April 17. Pioneer will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Matadors come into the battle with a 7-3 record after their 2-1 league win over Dixon (Dixon, CA).
