The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL) and the host Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), saw Deerfield's volleyball squad nip Lake Forest by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Deerfield upgrades its record to 8-4 on the year. The Warriors host Evanston (Evanston, IL) to play the Wildkits in a Central Suburban South bout on Tuesday, April 16. The Wildkits go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Evanston won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Maine South (Park Ridge, IL)

The Scouts now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Zion-Benton for a North Suburban bout on Wednesday, April 17. Lake Forest will play a Zee-Bees squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Wheeling (Wheeling, IL). The Zee-Bees record now stands at 5-8.
