The McNair Academic Cougars held off the host Ferris Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's league test.

The Cougars now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hudson Catholic for a HCIAL - National test on Wednesday, April 17. McNair Academic will confront a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Mary (Rutherford, NJ). The Hawks record now stands at 5-0.

The Bulldogs (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Newark Tech (Newark, NJ). The Terries enter the non-league test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Newark Tech held off Eagle Academy (Newark, NJ), 2-0, in a league test.
