Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), 18-1 in a league battle.

The Patriots now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wakefield for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 16. Pinecrest will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 20-9 league loss to Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-4.

In their next game, the Colts clash with the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a United 8/All American/Sandhills battle, on Wednesday, April 17. Cape Fear will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 10-0 record after their 24-7 league win over Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC).
