With the win, South Effingham upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Effingham County (Springfield, GA) to battle the Rebels in a 5A-6A Area 7 outing on Wednesday, April 17. The Rebels go into the outing with a record of 9-4. Effingham County lost 13-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA)

The Saints now hold a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Effingham County for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 18. St. Vincent's will battle a Rebels team coming off a 7-1 league win over South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 10-4.
