Harbor Teacher Monarchs (Wilmington, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears (San Pedro, CA), 19-5 in a league challenge.

The Monarchs now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to King/Drew for a challenge on Monday, April 22. Harbor Teacher will battle a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 15-1 league loss to Fremont (Los Angeles, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Port of Los Angeles falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Polar bears host Fremont (Los Angeles, CA) to battle the Pathfinders in a challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Pathfinders enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Fremont won 15-7 in their recent league challenge against Locke (Los Angeles, CA)
