In Monday's league contest, the Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA) lacrosse squad nipped the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), by a count of 11-10.
Coming up next, the Big Macs confront the Baldwin Highlanders (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 contest, on Tuesday, April 16. Canon-McMillan will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Highlanders enter the contest with a 0-9 record after their 19-1 league loss to Peters Township (McMurray, PA).
