Winton Woods Warriors (Cincinnati, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Xenia Buccaneers (Xenia, OH), 11-10 in a non-league test.
The Warriors now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Turpin for a Region 8 test on Friday, April 19. Winton Woods will face a Spartans squad coming off a 13-8 league loss to Mariemont (Cincinnati, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 1-6.
In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Licking Valley Panthers (Newark, OH) in a Region 7 test, on Friday, April 19. Xenia will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 0-11 record after their 8-4 league loss to Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH).
