Kentucky High School Softball - Allen County-Scottsville bounces Bowling Green

Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY) and the visiting Bowling Green Purples (Bowling Green, KY), witnessed Allen County-Scottsville's softball squad prevail over Bowling Green by a count of 19-7.

The Patriots now sport a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Glasgow for a District 15 match on Tuesday, April 16. Allen County-Scottsville will face a Scotties squad coming off a 9-3 league loss to Warren East (Bowling Green, KY). The Scotties record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Bowling Green moves to 3-12 on the season. The Purples host Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY) to face the Dragons in a District 14 match on Tuesday, April 16. The Dragons go into the match with a record of 3-12. Warren Central lost 17-4 in their recent non-league match against Russellville (Russellville, KY)
