In Monday's league outing, the visiting Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets softball team scored a nice 18-3 win over the Ashland Arrows.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Wooster Generals (Wooster, OH) in a Ohio Cardinal outing, on Tuesday, April 16. Mt. Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Generals enter the outing with a 1-8 record after their 15-14 non-league loss to Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH).
