The Lions now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Independence for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Baxter Springs will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-2 league loss to Fort Scott (Fort Scott, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Riverton falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Rams host Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, MO) to face the Mountaineers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a record of 18-7. Mt. Vernon won 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Sarcoxie (Sarcoxie, MO)
