Lafayette County Cougars (Stamps, AR) fans exited the stadium satisfied Monday as they witnessed their softball squad prevail over the host Blevins Hornets (Blevins, AR), 15-5 in a non-league match.

The Cougars now sport a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Emerson for a 1A Region 8 match on Thursday, April 18.

With the loss, Blevins moves to 0-11 on the season. The Hornets host Nevada (Rosston, AR) to meet the Blue Jays in a 1A Region 7 match on Tuesday, April 16.
