The North Haven Nighthawks softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Branford Hornets to 1 in the Nighthawks non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, North Haven moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Nighthawks host Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT) to play the Spartans in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 16. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 4-0.

In their next game, the Hornets play the Lauralton Hall Crusaders (Milford, CT) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 16. Branford will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the game with a 3-4 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to Mercy (Middletown, CT).
