Cascade Champions (Wartrace, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Grundy County Yellowjackets (Coalmont, TN), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Champions now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Tullahoma for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Cascade will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-9 non-league loss to Lawrence County (Lawrenceburg, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Grundy County falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Van Buren County (Spencer, TN) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-4.
