Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Mountain View Generals (Quicksburg, VA), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Madison County for a Bull Run challenge on Thursday, April 18. Clarke County will battle a Mountaineers squad coming off a 12-1 league loss to Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Mountain View falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Page County (Shenandoah, VA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 8-2. Page County won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against East Rockingham (Elkton, VA)
