Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY), 4-3 in a league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ryle for a District 33 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Cooper will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Boone County (Florence, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Conner falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Boone County (Florence, KY) to battle the Rebels in a District 33 challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 1-7. Boone County lost 6-0 in their recent league challenge against Ryle (Union, KY)
