The Cranberry Area Berries softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Redbank Valley Bulldogs to 5 in the Berries league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Cranberry Area moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Berries travel to Rocky Grove (Franklin, PA) to clash with the Orioles in a non-league game on Friday, April 19. The Orioles come into the game with a record of 0-4.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Moniteau Warriors (West Sunbury, PA) in a Keystone Shortway - South game, on Tuesday, April 16. Redbank Valley will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 1-3 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA).
