Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Deshler Tigers (Tuscumbia, AL) and the visiting East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL), witnessed Deshler's softball squad prevail over East Lawrence by a count of 13-3.

The Tigers now sport a 24-14 record. They play next when they travel to Russellville for a non-league match on Monday, April 15. Deshler will face a Golden Tigers squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Sardis (Boaz, AL). The Golden Tigers record now stands at 17-14.

With the loss, East Lawrence moves to 10-17 on the season. The Eagles travel to West Morgan (Trinity, AL) to face the Rebels in a 4A Area 13 match on Tuesday, April 16. The Rebels go into the match with a record of 13-12. West Morgan lost 14-0 in their recent league match against Priceville (Priceville, AL)
