The Valley Springs Tigers routed the visiting Elkins Elks softball squad by a final score of 16-1 in Monday's league battle.

The Tigers (15-7) will now prepare for their battle against Charleston (Charleston, AR). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Charleston topped Danville (Danville, AR), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Elks now possess a 8-16 record. They play next when they host Ozark for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 18. Elkins will meet a Hillbillies squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to Mena (Mena, AR). The Hillbillies record now stands at 7-13.
