Ferris Bulldogs (Jersey City, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host St. Dominic Academy Blue Devils (Jersey City, NJ), 13-10 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln for a HCIAL - National challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Ferris will battle a Lions squad coming off a 18-3 league loss to Memorial (West New York, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, St. Dominic Academy falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Snyder (Jersey City, NJ) to battle the Tigers in a HCIAL - National challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Snyder lost 26-5 in their recent league challenge against McNair Academic (Jersey City, NJ)
