Virginia High School Softball - Galax thwarted by Fort Chiswell

The Galax Maroon Tide softball team (Galax, VA), was routed 18-2 in Monday's league test with the host Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA)

Coming up next, the Pioneers clash with the Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 17. Fort Chiswell will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Pioneers come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Bluefield (Bluefield, WV).

The Maroon Tide (4-5) will now prepare for their test against George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Maroons come into the Mountain Empire test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, George Wythe overcame Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA), 3-2, in a league test.
