Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockford Auburn for a Northern Illinois NIC-9 challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Hononegah will battle a Knights squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Rockford East (Rockford, IL). The Knights record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Freeport falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Pretzels host Jefferson (Rockford, IL) to battle the J-Hawks in a Northern Illinois NIC-9 challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The J-Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 4-5. Jefferson lost 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Guilford (Rockford, IL)
