The crowd at Monday's league match between the Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) and the visiting Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL), saw Larkin's softball squad nip Glenbard South by a count of 4-2.

The Royals now sport a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fenton for a Upstate Eight match on Tuesday, April 16. Larkin will face a Bison squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Bison record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Glenbard South falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Raiders host Benet Academy (Lisle, IL) to face the Redwings in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 17. The Redwings enter the match with a record of 5-5. Benet Academy won 9-1 in their recent non-league match against Fenwick (Oak Park, IL)
