GlenOak Golden Eagles (Canton, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Washington Tigers (Massillon, OH), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Green for a Federal challenge on Tuesday, April 16. GlenOak will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Washington falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Tuslaw (Massillon, OH) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Tuslaw lost 7-6 in their recent league challenge against Manchester (Akron, OH)
