The Kellogg Wildcats (Kellogg, ID) softball triumphed over the visiting Priest River Spartans (Priest River, ID), 26-8 in Monday's league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Maries for a 2A Central Idaho challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Kellogg will battle a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 27-2 league win over Priest River (Priest River, ID). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Priest River falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Spartans host Grangeville (Grangeville, ID) to battle the Bulldogs in a 2A Central Idaho challenge on Friday, April 19. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 6-7. Grangeville won 13-9 in their recent league challenge against Orofino (Orofino, ID)
