In Monday's league outing, the host Ligonier Valley Rams softball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Mt. Pleasant Vikings.
With the triumph, Ligonier Valley moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Rams host Yough (Herminie, PA) to play the Cougars in a contest on Monday, April 22. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 3-1.
In their next game, the Vikings play the Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 17. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record.
