Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL), 5-0 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Providence Catholic for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Minooka will battle a Celtics squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL). The Celtics record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Plainfield North falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host West Aurora (Aurora, IL) to battle the Blackhawks in a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a record of 4-5. West Aurora lost 7-4 in their recent league challenge against Oswego East (Oswego, IL)
