New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Nampa Christian Trojans (Nampa, ID), 14-2 in a league challenge.

The Pilgrims now own a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they host Cole Valley Christian for a 2A Western Idaho challenge on Wednesday, April 17. New Plymouth will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 23-1 non-league win over West Side (Dayton, ID). The Chargers record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Nampa Christian falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Melba (Melba, ID) to battle the Mustangs in a 2A Western Idaho challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 8-5. Melba won 12-8 in their recent league challenge against Marsing (Marsing, ID)
