Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL), 4-1 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Naperville North for a DuPage Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Waubonsie Valley will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 16-3 league loss to Metea Valley (Aurora, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Neuqua Valley falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Naperville North (Naperville, IL) to battle the Huskies in a DuPage Valley challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 4-12. Naperville North lost 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL)
