The Sunapee Lakers routed the host Nute Rams softball squad by a final score of 29-11 in Monday's league battle.
The Lakers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin (Franklin, NH). The Tornadoes go into the Division IV battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Franklin was routed by Pittsfield (Pittsfield, NH), 15-10, in a non-league battle.
The Rams now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Portsmouth Christian Academy for a Division IV battle on Wednesday, April 17. Nute will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 21-1 league win over Farmington (Farmington, NH). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
