The Water Valley Blue Devils (Water Valley, MS) softball routed the visiting Palmer Dragons (Marks, MS), 14-1 in Monday's league bout.
The Blue Devils (4-11) will now prepare for their bout against Ingomar (New Albany, MS). The Falcons go into the 2A Region 2 bout with a 3-13 record. In their last bout, Ingomar was routed by Bruce (Bruce, MS), 7-5, in a league bout.
The Dragons now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Ingomar for a 2A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, April 16. Palmer will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Water Valley (Water Valley, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 4-13.
