Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Redhawks now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Irmo for a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Westwood will battle a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 10-9 league loss to A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, Ridge View falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC) to battle the Cavaliers in a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
