The Rocori Spartans (Cold Spring, MN) softball nipped the visiting Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN), 6-5 in Monday's league bout.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN). The Otters go into the Central Lakes bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Fergus Falls was edged by Hawley (Hawley, MN), 10-2, in a non-league bout.
The Sabres now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Willmar for a Central Lakes bout on Thursday, April 18.
