Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Russellville Panthers (Russellville, KY) and the host Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY), witnessed Russellville's softball squad prevail over Warren Central by a count of 17-4.

The Panthers now sport a 14-6 record. They play next when they host Logan County for a District 13 test on Tuesday, April 16. Russellville will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Butler County (Morgantown, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 12-3.

The Dragons (3-12) will now prepare for their test against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY). The Purples enter the District 14 test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Bowling Green was routed by Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY), 19-7, in a non-league test.
