Pennsylvania High School Softball - Sayre gets by Sullivan County

April 15, 2024: Sayre, PA 18840

The Sayre Redskins nipped the visiting Sullivan County Griffins softball squad by a final score of 10-9 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Redskins (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Penn-Liberty (Liberty, PA). The Mountie go into the Northern Tier - Large battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, North Penn-Liberty held off Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA), 13-0, in a league battle.

The Griffins now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bucktail for a Mid-Penn D4 battle on Tuesday, April 16. Sullivan County will meet a Bucks squad coming off a 20-0 league win over Benton (Benton, PA). The Bucks record now stands at 5-0.
