Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Wooster Colts (Reno, NV), 17-2 in a league challenge.

The Railroaders now own a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Valleys for a 3A North - West challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Sparks will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 19-1 league win over Hug (Reno, NV). The Panthers record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, Wooster falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Truckee (Truckee, CA) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. Truckee lost 21-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Gridley (Gridley, CA)
